What She's Having.jpg

What She's Having

What She’s Having are Canberra’s alt‑country shapeshifters—sometimes a six‑piece riot, sometimes a formidable duo. They distilled to volatile trio mode: Bridget Croft’s vocals cutting clean through the dark, equal parts velvet and threat; Jenny Spear’s smoke‑bitten harmonies and guitar striking like a match on dry tinder; and Paul Kindermann’s bass grounding the whole thing with a pulse that feels like both a warning and a promise. Together they deliver original songs steeped in murder‑ballad pathos, jailbreak bravado, sweet vengeance, and the crooked ghosts that stalk the backroads of their imaginations, alongside their own sharp‑edged interpretations of country gems from luminaries including Lucinda Williams, Gram Parsons, Cactus Flowers, and Waylon Jennings.

Capo Creek are a dynamic Canberra based guitar and vocal duo with a whole lot of energy and a contagious vibe. Capo Creek is Chris Johnson and Artem Grigoriev, who always get their audiences feeling great with the perfect mix of outlaw country, blues and rock anthems, beautiful ballads, and classy originals. Artem’s guitar licks are astounding, while Chris’s vocals are both powerful and tender. With their highly acclaimed debut album Running Out, the boys have been a big hit at recent folk and blues festivals, as well on the stages of Canberra’s best live music venues. Capo Creek, where the water is sweet and the music even sweeter.
