🐝 Final Buzz Bar before winter hibernation
Celebrate World Bee Day with a lively and interactive reading of the musical BEETASTROPHE at 6pm.
Follow Bruce the Drone Bee on a humorous and heartfelt journey towards a more sustainable future. Along the way he encounters villainous Mr. Pesticide, wise allies Soil and Water, and Bella the Blue Banded Bee with her passionate team of environmental demonstrators. Filled with quirky characters, audience interaction and important environmental themes, this energetic staged reading is designed to entertain both children and adults.
Created by Vee Malnar, Rosanna Grozdanic and Lizzy Smith, BEETASTROPHE explores sustainability, pollination and caring for the planet through comedy, storytelling and community conversation.
The reading features Kayla Ciceran (Narrator), Anthony Ives, Lizzy Smith, Ben Callinan, Jenny Schwinghammer, Katy Crivelli, Keith Joliffe and Debi Lee.
Audiences are invited to stay after the performance to share ideas and feedback as the musical continues to evolve.
